The single barrel is so special that only 1 in 100 barrels is selected to become a single barrel.
Each barrel in the single barrel has its own unique distinction, one may be sweeter, and one might have more oak.
The Barrels Selected is selected are housed in the uppermost floors of the barrelhouse where the greater swings in temperature cause the biggest interactions with the barrel and impart the most unique flavours and are bottled in the smallest of batches.
On the nose it has a Good body with plenty of toasty oak, notes of corn and lovely cereal sweetness and a little spice and toffee.
In the mouth, it is full and mouth-filling with notes of cereal sweetness, rye, a touch of cigar box and nut oils and a little spice and an aniseed character.
